The 4th meeting of our project took place at SPDV (School for partially-sighted students) in Bucharest, Romania. All the partners were presents.
On 21 , Nora Schiopu welcomed the guests in the teachers room; Tanja Stevens presents the agenda of the meeting and some news: the Robobraille conference in Bratislava and Prague, some ideas about the multiplier-events. Then the coordinnator tried to contact Mike Goldrick via Skype, but without success.
At the begining, the Romanian team presents the Guide for blind: a PDF about Challanges – first language (Nora Schiopu), two documents about preparatory lessons for braille (author Carmen Avramescu) ; a PDF about „Geometric instruments” and a short movie that explain a method adapted for blind to facilitate the understanding of square root ( Tiberiu Rosu). With the partenrs from Cyprus, we all decided that we have to add more photos, demonstrations, exemples of application and links in the Guides for blind; Maria Kyriacou and Christina Eliadou present the Guide for blind – first language, that is almost finished.
Luca Liberalli from Italy presents to the partners a material for music – Guide for partially-sighted and Maria introduce us the Guide for first language as it is know. The parteners reveal the fact that they have to add more exemples in the guides for partially-sighted.
Daniela Boneva from Bulgary and Eva Gearmathy from Hungary presents us the Guide for Dyslexia ; there are lot of demonstrations about learning problems and proposed solutions (photos, movies) that Eva shared with us on Dropbox.
Christina Eliadou presents us the Good inclusion practice catalogue – the intellectual outputs; she asked us more photos or examples of good inclusion practice.
After the lunch, the partners were invited to visit the School for partially-sighted : the class-rooms, the braille cabinet etc; the students prepare a surprise for the guest: a short concert in the festivity room.
Lars Christensen present us the news about Robobraille program: a three years project supported by Velux Fondation in order to create a module in Slovakia and in Czech Republic. The coordinnator spoke about the interest that Universities from UK showed for Robobraille. Lars also said that the E-Learning Smart Cours need to be improve little by little.
The parteners enjoy the social dinner.
On 22 of November, the partners talked about the multiplier-events and the dates; about the implementation of the project and the intellectual out-puts; they also talked about the dissemination plan.
Then we worked in groups and we established the strategy in order to finish the guides.
Tanja anounce that the next meeting it will be in Cyprus on 13 an 14 of March.
